Popped Culture #3

For Popped Culture #3 we asked Al Brown to put forward one of his young talents. Al suggested one of his right-hand guys Hayden Scott. Hayden has worked alongside Al on such projects as Federal Deli, Depot, and Best Ugly Bagels. We knew Hayden's familiar style would be a hit for Popped Culture.

Just like previous events, Hayden served up one savoury option and one sweet. His savoury was a take on the classic mince on toast. A slice of sourdough smeared with mustard butter, mutton mince, smoked sour cream, and wasabi pea. The sweet option was a perfect compliment. A slice of sourdough fruit loaf with a healthy portion of golden cheesecake whip, cherry, and pecan cereal clusters.

We had the pleasure of being able to serve two international filter coffees alongside our own. Thanks to 3FE (Dublin) and Onibus (Tokyo) we had three delicious filter coffees for the filter tray. All Flat Whites were made using our Ethiopian Duromina.

Thanks to our partners for providing their products and services. They are all the best in their fields, and make it possible for us to put on such a great event.

Skip breakfast at home and come join us at our table. While you’re waking up, we'll pop the toast, lay down a spread and pour the coffee with a few of our good friends.

Let us set you right for the day.
